The Space Adventure theme park, which will feature original items from NASA’s North American space agency, began ticket pre-sales on March 13. On April 18, three days before opening its doors to the public, an exclusive opening event will feature the presence of astronaut Charles Duke, one of the 12 men in history to step on the moon.
Tickets
The sale for the exclusive event on the 18th will be made by email falecom@spaceadventure.com.br. 200 entries will be made available, which will entitle you to a kit of items licensed by NASA, autographed photo, cocktail reception and a chat with astronaut Charles Duke.
To visit the park, tickets, available on the website, cost: full R$ 90 (from 16 to 59 years old), promotional launch price; and a half R$ 50 (children, students, PCD, low-income youth and over 60 years old). To check out the Planetarium, tickets cost R$60 and R$30, respectively. Those who prefer the combo of the two attractions will pay R$ 119 in full, in the promotional price, and R$ 70 for half.
Tickets do not include: gyroscope (attraction that simulates the G-force faced by pilots); virtual reality simulator (attraction that simulates man’s experience in space); Cinema 6D.
Special condition
Area residents will receive a 40% discount. The purchase must be made directly at the ticket office, upon presentation of proof of residence.
What awaits visitors
The population will enjoy a total area of 4,000 squares with different spaces, such as the simulation of a lunar environment with a ceiling height of 12 meters that will feature a Rover. In other spaces, there will be an elevator that simulates the movement and arrival on the launch pad of the rockets, an exhibition of more than 300 original NASA items and other spaces that are prepared.
The exhibit area also features one of the largest collections of original US agency artifacts, which have been assembled by the Cosmephere Museum and Space Education Center in Hutchinson, Kansas, relating to Projects Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. Among them, rocket turbines, a replica of the lunar capsule with original panel and original Houston control tables, in addition to historical records of the Apollo 11 mission, which took two American astronauts to the moon on July 20, 1969. the public will be able to see, with 4K reproduction technology, films produced by the Museum of Natural History in New York.
